Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor with self-performed trades of concrete, carpentry, and prefabricated walls, serving employees throughout Madison, Milwaukee and Bloomington, MN. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for performing inventory activities for lumber, hardware, and other building products within panel plant operations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy of physical inventories in comparison to accounting records.
  • Manage jobsite/customer orders of lumber and hardware accurately within our inventory management software.
  • Receiving - verify packing slips match purchase order to update inventory, and give invoice approval. Stocking material as needed.
  • Prepare and submit customer billing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience with managing inventory of physical product
  • 2+ years' experience with maintaining high volumes of orders and corresponding billing
  • Must have high attention to detail, strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ideal candidate will have experience/knowledge of lumber and hardware as it pertains to the construction industry
