We are seeking an Irrigation Department Administrator to join our team. As the Irrigation Department Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient operation of our Irrigation Department. This position is responsible for administrative duties, coordination of irrigation projects, and support of management tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, facilitating communication and maintaining detailed records of irrigation activities.

Role + Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Handle daily administrative tasks including scheduling, data entry, and document management to support the irrigation team.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in planning and tracking irrigation projects, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of all project-related documentation.
  • Communication Facilitator: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal communication within the department and coordinate communications with other departments within maintenance (account managers, arbor, and enhancements).
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of irrigation schedules, maintenance records, and project details.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of irrigation supplies and equipment, coordinating orders and tracking the usage to ensure availability.
  • Compliance and Training Support: Assist in ensuring that all operations comply with relevant regulations and help coordinate training sessions for department staff.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on department activities, project progress, and inventory status to management.

Knowledge, Skills, + Abilities:

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of administration and coordination.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information across all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort with database management, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Knowledge of Irrigation Systems: Familiarity with irrigation practices and equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Proactive Approach: Ability to anticipate needs and take proactive steps to prevent issues before they arise.
