We are currently hiring a Senior Cloud ISSO with a strong background in NIST 800-53 security controls.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Security authorization activities for SecureIT's client in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800 series and additional client specific standards.
  • Managing tasks related to the planning and preparation for security documentation related to the system authorization process.
  • Developing and updating the information system security documentation (e.g., Security Plan, Contingency Plan, Contingency Plan Test, Business Impact Analysis, FIPS-199, eAuthentication, Privacy Threshold Analysis, etc.)
  • Coordinating the remediation of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) with various groups.
  • Work with clients to develop capabilities, briefings, and presentations.

Required experience:

  • 4 years of experience implementing, administering, and securing cloud solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of NIST SP 800-53 v5 and experience implementing the requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • CASP, GSEC, GSLC, CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA, or comparable certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desired skills and certifications:

  • 2 years of experience leading teams.
  • Extensive experience with any of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google.
  • Experience with local, state, federal governments or other highly regulated environments.
  • CCSP, CCSK, GCSA, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Certification.
