Description:

As a Retail Branch Manager with FNB, you lead a branch team on our mission of being the preferred financial institution in the community we serve, by creating a rewarding experience for our employees, our customers, shareholders, and the community. The Branch Manager is responsible for the management and growth of the Retail Branch.

These functions include but are not limited to creating a rewarding experience, leading branch staff, managing operational integrity, delivering our Community Relationship Model, and performance against deposit and loan growth targets.


Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for the overall branch profitability by leading our Retail Strategy & our FNB Community Relationship Model to achieve assigned loan and growth targets.
  • Leads Assistant Branch Manager and Retail Staff in meeting operational objectives by managing all risks with FNB compliance and audit controls.
  • Develops team through coaching, performance management, and acts as a player coach by modeling our FNB Values, Mission, and Core Values to deliver a rewarding experience.
  • Proactively prospects and grows Consumer and Small Business relationships through Community Outreach, and Business Development.
  • Reinforces and maintains accountability for execution of our FNB Strategy.
  • Identifies Consumer and Small Business customer needs leveraging tools and resources to assist with customer short- and long-term financial goals with FNB banking solutions as a trusted advisor.
  • Engages all team members and business partners as appropriate.
  • Delivers Performance on targeted KPI’s.
  • Other duties as defined.

Bank Secrecy Act Duties:

  • In the performance of respective tasks and duties, the Retail Branch Manager will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security, and Bank policies and procedures.

Company Conformance:

  • In compliance with all applicable regulations and Bank policies, the employee is expected to successfully produce quality work within deadlines, with or without supervision; interact professionally with other employees, customers, and vendors, while always respecting the need for confidentiality of customer information. The employee will work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments; and work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. Furthermore, the employee is encouraged to actively represent the Bank to customers and the general public in ways that promote the integrity, validity, and mission of the Bank by participating in community organizations, events, and activities. The employee is also expected to maintain a commitment to continuing education in the banking field through self-study and both in-house and outside training opportunities in all applicable banking policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is expected, and appropriate attire is required at all times, while either performing job functions or representing the Bank at outside events and activities.
Requirements:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Three years of management/leadership experience in a banking environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree.


Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge of all bank products, services, procedures, policies, and appropriate regulatory issues relating to daily job functions.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and tailor features and benefits of products/services to customers with differing needs.
  • Ability to make personal connections, engage and educate customers, ask open-ended questions and use listening skills to establish trust and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Working knowledge of Silverlake system, nCino preferred.
  • Effective time management.
