Job Description:


As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, shipping, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will manage people, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met and that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Oversee and manage the shipping and receiving department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted in compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service by addressing and resolving warehouse issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct physical counts, and reconcile with data storage systems.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar management position.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases.
  • Ability to manage inventory.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
