We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Records Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and coordinating all legal and medical records inquiries. Your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with healthcare providers and internal departments to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses to inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review medical and legal inquiries submitted to the organization.
  • Coordinate responses to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Responds to Outlook, Provider Flow and E-mail as well as phone inquiries
  • Collaborate with Physician and other providers to gather necessary information and documentation
  • Monitor timelines and deadlines to ensure timely responses to inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies

Qualifications:

High School or equivalent required

  • Experience: 1-year experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or legal setting
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and legal documentation is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
