Data Collection and Management:

  • Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data collection systems. Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleansing activities.
  • Maintain and update databases and data systems as necessary.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Use statistical methods and software tools to perform data analysis.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance indicators.
  • Create visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for business strategies and decisions.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to understand their data needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
