Description:
- The Digital Content Data Management and Globalization team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data, Reporting, and Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring data accuracy, generating meaningful reports, and maintaining data quality standards.
- As a part of a growing dynamic team, there will be opportunities to work with designers, engineers, and product teams to manage content design data. The reporting analyst will also support the developing strategy for digital content management.
- The analyst will process requests for digital copy information, additions, modifications, and deletions.
- This person will need to understand requests with varying amounts of detail and be comfortable asking questions to confirm understanding.
- Extracting and inspecting data from various sources to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and inaccuracies.
- Cleaning and transforming raw data into usable formats, ensuring consistency and completeness.
- Developing and implementing data quality checks to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data-related problems and ensure high-quality standards.
- Transfer data from spreadsheets and other formats to a database
- Update existing data
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Identify and report scope changes
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Create spreadsheets with large data sets without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and expectations.
- Building and maintaining accurate and visually appealing reports using data visualization tools.
- Creating dashboards and executive summaries that convey key insights effectively.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance data processes, reporting methodologies, and data collection methods.
- Recommending and implementing improvements to streamline data flow and optimize reporting efficiency.
- Documenting data processing steps, transformations, and data quality protocols.
- Maintaining clear and organized documentation for future reference and audits.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Information Systems).
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and data quality assurance.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation using tools like SQL, Excel, or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
- QuickBase certification or proficiency
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and address data issues.
- Experience with data cleaning and transformation techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
