Job Title: Reporting Analyst/ Data Analyst Location: Plano, TX - Onsite Duration /Term: 12+ Months/Long Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data, Reporting, and Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring data accuracy, generating meaningful reports, and maintaining data quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis/Entry and Quality Assurance:
  • Extract and inspect data from various sources to identify discrepancies, anomalies, and inaccuracies.
  • Clean and transform raw data into usable formats, ensuring consistency and completeness.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related problems and ensure high-quality standards.
  • Transfer data from spreadsheets and other formats to a database
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Identify and report scope changes
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Create spreadsheets with large data sets without mistakes
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Reporting and Visualization:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and expectations.
  • Build and maintain accurate and visually appealing reports using data visualization tools.
  • Create dashboards and executive summaries that convey key insights effectively.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, reporting methodologies, and data collection methods.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to streamline data flow and optimize reporting efficiency.
Documentation:
  • Document data processing steps, transformations, and data quality protocols.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for future reference and audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Information Systems).
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and data quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation using tools like SQL, Excel, or scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
  • QuickBase certification or proficiency
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and address data issues.
  • Experience with data cleaning and transformation techniques.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
