Job Summary: The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining vigilant surveillance over the client’s premises, identifying and reporting any irregularities or unauthorized activities. This role includes conducting foot patrols, overseeing perimeter security, and documenting all pertinent incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service by adhering to rigorous safety and security protocols, as well as site-specific guidelines.
- Tactfully manage incidents and emergencies with a composed and analytical approach.
- Execute comprehensive foot patrols to detect potential threats or illicit conduct.
- Promptly relay any unusual occurrences to supervisory personnel or appropriate law enforcement entities.
- Diligently compile detailed reports encapsulating observations, gathered intelligence, and surveillance operations.
- Administer verbal cautions, effectuate detentions (when necessary), or summon law enforcement to address security breaches or criminal acts.
- Adapt to varying work environments and conditions.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as designated.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Texas Pocket Guard Card.
- At least 21 years of age.
- A minimum educational attainment of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in English communication (oral and written).
- Demonstrated capability to offer exceptional client service.
- Physically adept to perform duties including standing, walking, and sitting.
- Successful clearance of a comprehensive background investigation (criminal history, driving records, drug screening, etc.).
