Compensation:
Starting Salary Range: $16.00 to $20.00
The Armed Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding property and personnel by monitoring and patrolling designated areas to deter theft, violence, and policy violations.
Key Responsibilities- Authorize and monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals to maintain security.
- Document daily activities and any irregularities, including damage, theft, or unauthorized access.
- Respond to emergencies by contacting law enforcement or fire services as necessary.
- Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms.
- Engage with visitors and staff to maintain order and protect assets.
- Conduct regular patrols to identify signs of intrusion and ensure the security of access points.
- Provide transportation and personal protection for individuals as required.
- Utilize screening devices to prevent the entry of prohibited items into secure areas.
- Enforce rules and regulations, taking appropriate action against violators.
Note: The company reserves the right to modify job duties as needed.
QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Preferred 1-2 years in a related field, but not mandatory.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid security guard license at the appropriate level from the State of Texas.
New hires will undergo a six-month probationary period.
Skills- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Active listening and critical thinking abilities.
