We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk based in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role is primarily within the financial industry, and you will be working in an office environment. As an Accounting Clerk, your main duties will involve processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and collecting payments.


Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Accurately maintain customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts regularly

• Take appropriate action based on account monitoring

• Collect payments as required

• Perform general office duties as needed

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Utilize Quickbooks desktop for various tasks (training will be provided)

• Experience with posting payments is necessary.

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proven experience in the field of accounting or finance is preferred
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to collect and analyze data accurately
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with general accounting principles
• Experience in collecting payments and managing financial transactions
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to accounting and taxation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
