Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the Production staff, overseeing the quality control of DVR production, and assisting the Chief Operations Officer in the day-to-day tasks of organizing DVR production schedules. Supports and adheres to the Open Eye Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manages Production Team.
  • Manages shipping time lines and communicates expectations to customers.
  • Assist in the details of DVR production and schedules.
  • Oversees the building of a vast variation of DVR's and PC's while assisting other teammates.
  • Assist QC teammates with general help which may be needed.
  • Participate in training activities to maintain technical currency and provide a high degree of service to meet customer service goals.
  • Create new ways of doing old tasks to promote a competitive work culture.
  • Act as a liaison for new associates who need general assistance and training.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to realize production schedules.
  • Maintains Quality Control documents.
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to act as a mentor and resource to other teammates.
  • Knowledge and determination to create new ideas to help promote a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge and determination to become a leader within OpenEye.
  • Knowledge of procedures and documentation requirements for DVR compliance.
  • More than 75% of the time: must be able to lift, pull/push and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Basic computer hardware to include monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
    • Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software.
    • Ability to troubleshoot DVR units and PC's.
  • Ability to identify and/or prevent problems before they occur; including the ability to formulate alternative solutions to problems when necessary and transfer learning from past experiences to new experiences of similar nature.
