Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryWhile working as a Large Format Production Specialist, you will be tasked with fulfilling duties related to prepping and quality checking substrates, pre and post-production, and operating the large format equipment to produce various types of signage. The person in this position assists with the Production department by, ensuring jobs meet internal quality control standards and have a smooth installation process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understand different substrates and prepare them to be printed
  • Set up, operate, and trouble shoot various large format equipment independently
  • Accurately assist to install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipment
  • Review job box for accuracy and report errors as needed
  • Complete quality control inspections and create packaging for finished jobs
  • Collaborate with multiple team members to ensure job completion by due date
  • Input finished jobs into the internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
  • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
Nonessential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work on job assignments in other departments as instructed

Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma is required but some prior experience or training in print is preferred
  • Performing this job successfully requires that an individual have a solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite and email applications
  • Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
  • Mathematical abilities required by this job include reading a ruler, calculating simple costs, and other basic mathematical skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • While performing the duties of this job, one is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, reaching with hands and arms is regularly required to walk, stoop, and bend over and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, as well as other employees. Additionally, the noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud, and usually consists of light machinery, nearby printers, and other employees conversing.
