We offer civil and structural engineering, planning + landscape architecture, survey, and construction inspection services to public and private clients throughout Texas.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Operate vacuum trucks and related tools and equipment, including jackhammers, pogo-tampers, concrete saws, compressor blowers, vacuum hoses, air lances, and hand tools.
  • Drive commercial motor vehicles as needed for work assignments.
  • Complete paperwork accurately, including record-keeping and basic mathematics.
  • Perform daily basic maintenance on vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of vehicles, work sites, and equipment.
  • Set up maintenance of traffic as directed.
  • Make basic field measurements.
  • Perform simple geophysical prospecting as instructed.
  • Handle other duties and projects as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of operating specialized equipment related to subsurface utility engineering.
  • Understanding of safety compliance and regulations.
  • Familiarity with record-keeping and basic mathematics.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in operating vacuum trucks and related tools/equipment.
  • Ability to drive commercial motor vehicles.
  • Competence in completing paperwork and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Skill in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Capability to set up maintenance of traffic and make field measurements.
  • Aptitude for performing simple geophysical prospecting.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in vacuum excavation tasks and supporting overall crew activities related to subsurface utility engineering is preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional training or certification related to the field is beneficial.

PAY:

From $20 per hour
