Summary:
The Project Management Specialist will play a critical role in providing effective support to the leadership team. This role focuses on defining, leading, and tracking projects, ensuring deliverables remain on track, and meeting project objectives.

Description:
As a Growth Project Manager (GPM) with Aramark, you will support the Client Sports + Entertainment Growth team in new business and retention pursuits. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing various materials and initiatives, such as RFP responses, customized proposals, capabilities brochures, booklets, and presentations. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Positioning, and working under the strategic direction of the Vice President of Growth, this role provides a valuable opportunity to learn about business development strategy while gaining exposure to various accounts, functions, and leaders across the Sports + Entertainment (S+E) business.

As a successful GPM, you will offer reliable support to the team across a diverse range of food & beverage, merchandise services, and facility services opportunities with major and minor league sports teams, NCAA athletics programs, convention centers, amphitheaters, and other hospitality destinations in sports and entertainment. Although you will not serve as the strategic project lead, you will coordinate with core team members to gather information and complete deliverables under the direction of the team, including the Director of Strategic Positioning.

Competencies/Expectations:

  • Serve as the project manager between the Pursuit Coordinator and various proposal stakeholders, including sales/retention teams and corporate functions, to facilitate successful document delivery.
  • Coordinate the sales proposal process with a critical eye for detail, utilizing an analytical project management approach while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Support the Pursuit Team in organizing, assembling, and distributing sales proposals.
  • Review RFPs to ensure compliance with state and regulatory requirements, working closely with key stakeholders.
  • Obtain feedback and approvals from Sales, Operations, Legal, Risk, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders, managing the incorporation of their input into the final proposal package.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders, providing superior customer service.
  • Manage projects for new sales and retention pursuits.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements and share best practices.
  • Facilitate the approval and signature process for proposals.
  • Track proposals and organize files within a centralized document management system.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new Directors of Business Development, Directors of Strategic Development, and District Managers on the proposal process.
  • Conduct training for team members and project stakeholders on processes and tools, guiding them in their responsibilities and assisting with challenges.
  • Maintain reference lists and other tools/resources to ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Coordinate projects with the Business Resource Center (BRC) and external design firms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, process orientation, and sensitivity to tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a project management role (agency background is a plus).
  • Experience working with restaurant, retail, or other consumer/hospitality brands is a plus.
  • Experience in contract services, particularly F&B sales and/or operations, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of InDesign is a plus.
  • Availability to travel occasionally (~10%).

Note: This is a contract position expected to continue through mid-October, with the potential for a longer-term engagement on a contract or full-time basis.
