Position Overview

This person is responsible for performing daily clerical activities within the front office and designated areas related to maintaining smooth patient flow and enforcing reimbursement related procedures as they apply to the front office.

Location and Hours of Position

Altoona Behavioral Health: 620 Howard Ave. Altoona, PA 16601

The general office hours for this position are 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional evening hours.

NO WEEKENDS

Compensation

Position starts at $16.00 per hour, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

•High school graduate or equivalent (or willing to receive within first year of employment)

Minimum of one (1) year professional office experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Flexibility in the workplace
  • Proficient typing and computer skills
  • Must be available to work evening hours, as required)
