As a State Farm Agent Team Member - Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to State Farm policyholders. You will work closely with the State Farm Agent and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction, handle insurance inquiries, process policy changes, and support policyholders with their insurance needs.


Our base and commissions are some of the most aggressive in the Mid-Michigan area. With our top producers earning $110,000+ annually. Additionally, up to six weeks of Paid Time Off per year is offered. Retirement matching. As well opportunities to earn a full week paid vacation to some of the nicest vacation locations in the world.


Prior sales experience in the insurance industry is preferred with potential for a sign on bonus after 90 days. Negotiable based on experience and performance track record.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide outstanding customer service to State Farm policyholders, ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships.
  2. Assist policyholders with inquiries, policy changes, billing questions, and claims processing.
  3. Educate policyholders about available coverage options and recommend appropriate insurance products that meet their needs.
  4. Process policy applications, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
  5. Maintain accurate customer records and policy files, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and up to date.
  6. Collaborate with the State Farm Agent and team members to support agency growth and meet business objectives.
  7. Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally.
  8. Act as a liaison between policyholders and insurance carriers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  9. Stay up to date with State Farm insurance products, services, and industry trends to provide accurate information to policyholders.
  10. Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Requirements
  1. Proven customer service experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  4. Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Proficient computer skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
  7. Knowledge of State Farm Insurance products, policies, and procedures is desirable.
  8. A Property & Casualty insurance license is REQUIRED.
  9. A Life & Health Insurance license is REQUIRED.
