The Branch President (General Manager) is responsible for establishing a strong market presence in the service industry, driving growth in market share, achieving profitability targets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

This is a great opportunity to lead, manage and grow a reputable HVAC service operations in Charlotte NC. The ideal candidate will come from Operations or Branch leadership in the service trade industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, etc).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Manage a team of 6-8 direct reports (Sales Manager, Service Manager, Construction Manager) with dotted line responsibility of 90 employees
  • Financial Management: Own the branch profit and loss, including growth, profitability, forecasting accuracy, gross margin improvement, market share, cash flow, operating income, and safety performance.
  • Market Growth: Increase market share and develop/execute business plans and strategies
  • Customer Engagement: Network with community leaders to secure and retain customers.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure consistent service excellence is delivered by your team

Qualifications:

  • Minumum 5+ years as a Branch, Operations or General Manager with direct people leadership experience
  • Minimum 7+ years experience in the service trade industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Construction, or similar)
  • Experience managing a P&L
