Position 1: English Only Electrical Engineer

  • Requirements: Experienced in measuring and testing electrical characteristics of prototypes in the GM Extender project. Entry-level graduates welcome, working under the guidance of an electrical engineer.

Position 2: Japanese Bilingual Electrical Design Engineer

  • Requirements: Immediate interview for Japanese business-level speakers with automotive experience. Circuit design experience not mandatory. Familiarity with VA/VE, DFMEA, DRBFM, and automotive design and manufacturing processes.

General Position Summary

Responsible for researching, developing, and examining electrical components, equipment, and systems using electrical engineering principles.

Essential Job Functions

  • Electrical Design:

    • Design electrical circuits using CAE.
    • Create block diagrams, simulate schematic designs, and maintain documentation for quality improvement.
    • Evaluate radio reception, conduct performance tests, and support manufacturing activities.

  • Other & Miscellaneous:

    • Translate documents from English to Japanese and vice versa.
    • Attend weekly meetings, seek continuous improvement, and perform special projects as assigned.
    • Maintain high ethical standards and a clean, safe working area.

Qualifications

  • Education & Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination; one to two years related experience.
  • Tools & Equipment: Proficient in office equipment, MS Office, and specialized packages. Experience with CAE tools.
  • Certificates / Licenses: None
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Work Environment: Office environment with frequent travel.
  • Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
