Job Summary: HonorBridge is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator. The Quality Assurance Coordinator monitors daily quality assurance operations through reviewing documents specific to donor activity for completeness and compliance. The ideal candidate is passionate about our mission of buildling connections that save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation and has a demonstrated experience in medical documentation. This is a hybrid working position that requires an individual to work in office 1-2 days a week.

    • Verifies accuracy of electronic chart stored in HonorBridge donor databases

    • Communicates deviations and variances to the Quality Systems Supervisor

  • Acts as a technical consultant for quality assurance issues

  • Assists the Quality Systems Supervisor in maintaining company compliance with HonorBridge policies and procedures, industry standards, and governmental regulations

    • Performs internal compliance checks

    • Assists in the assurance of departmental regulatory compliance

    • Monitors and evaluates the department for efficiency

    • Assists the Quality Systems Supervisor in writing and revising policies and procedures

    • Reviews and assists in resolving clinical staff errors

  • Performs periodic (monthly & semi-annually) data quality checks for regulatory agencies (AOPO, UNOS).

  • Performs monthly data exports to regulatory agencies (UNOS)

  • Submits periodic development plans, including issues, goals, and strategies, to supervisor.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Systems Supervisor

Work Environment: normal office environment, with regular automobile travel within service area

What we are looking for:

  • Associate Degree with a concentration in healthcare or science preferred with two years' experience in healthcare. Or Bachelor Degree with a concentration in healthcare or science preferred.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Demonstrated knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Experience in form completion and documentation.
