Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Call on truck dealers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast US to sell flatbeds, dump bodies, van bodies, platform bodies, towing bodies, service bodies, landscaping bodies, and custom truck bodies.
  • Call on regional fleets to introduce them to our company while building relationships with customers to work with them to understand and specify our products, helping to build quotes.
  • Working with the service and installation group to make sure that installations are prioritized and complete.
  • Developing contacts at rental/leasing companies to build business in those channels.
  • Developing marketing plans for specific products in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast area.
  • Working with engineering to ensure that what we build for our customers is what they requested and designed for manufacturing.
  • Increase the visibility, profile, sales, and profits of our company in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast truck body markets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Provide written quotations to retail, dealer, and fleet accounts, present the advantages and unique capabilities of our organization.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by correct quote pricing, lead time and specifications and communicating those items to customers.
  • Coordinate mounting of new equipment.
  • Arrange and estimate delivery schedules.
  • Understand technical operation of product; Instruct customers in product use.
  • Maintain records, reports, and files within CRM.
  • Assist in completion of administrative paperwork.
  • Recommend solutions to product related problems.
  • Read related publications to obtain current market condition information, business trends and industry developments.
  • Prepares and submit order specifications to in house production planning.
  • Effectively comply with all company safety standards.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or combination of education and work experience within the industry

Experience calling on companies with Truck Fleets, selling custom upfit vehicles, or working for a fleet rental company.
