We are seeking an energetic Social Media Specialist to join our team and take our social media presence to the next level


The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and curating engaging content for FastBridge Fiber’s social media platforms, the creation and editing of written, photo, and video content, attending events and shadowing team members to produce content, and maintaining the brand voice across all social media channels. This role involves overseeing social media campaigns, tracking KPI data to determine campaign success, continually optimizing social media strategies, as well as online reputation management.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, build, and manage FastBridge Fiber’s social media presence across various platforms.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including the creation, and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across social media channels.
  • Attending community events, pop-up events, and utilizing guerilla marketing tactics to produce social media content.
  • Shadow other team members to produce content, including service installation, construction, in-office employees.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team members to create on-brand, attractive and informative campaigns.
  • Oversee social media campaign schedules and track campaign performance.
  • Engage with followers and fans by responding to comments and messages while following brand and company social media guidelines.
  • Use social media marketing tools to optimize content and engagement.
  • Ideate and execute strategic social campaigns that align with marketing goals.
  • Monitor social media analytics to track engagement and reach of posts.
  • Communicate key insights and recommendations to Marketing Leadership.
  • Stay up to date with new and emerging trends, technologies and tools to keep FastBridge Fiber’s social media presence relevant.
  • Use social listening to be the online eyes and ears of FastBridge.
  • Participate in online reputation management by monitoring and replying to FastBridge Fiber’s Google Reviews.




Requirements:

Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of how various social media platforms operate, algorithms, and trends.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt writing style according to the brand's character.
  • Research skills to identify trends, content styles, and campaign strategies.
  • An eye for creating engaging social media content that evokes engagement.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate original content.
  • A willingness and the ability to learn the fiber internet industry to understand FastBridge Fiber’s product and company vs the competition, and the differences between fiber internet and other forms of internet access.
  • General knowledge of Google reviews.
  • Required attendance at community events, pop-up events, guerrilla marketing tactics to create social media content.
  • 25% travel within the state of Pennsylvania and Buffalo, New York will be required for events and other marketing and company activities to create content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

Education and Experience:

  • 1 or more years of social media marketing experience.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent preferred.
