POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for administrative support in general HR/Credentialing responsibilities and duties. The administrative assistant is responsible for assigned tasks that are diverse and complex in nature. Is the first contact for applicants, and departmental personnel, both in person and on the phone. Effective communication skills are required due to level of contact with all levels of the organization. Assistant accepts direction from the Executive Director, Director of Human Resources, Director of Finance, and Billing Manager in the daily operation of the administrative office. Must have the ability to prioritize projects and tasks daily and demonstrate customer service focused behaviors.

HR:

  • Recruit for all MPA open positions
  • Coordinate interviews for HR
  • Assist HR Specialist with new hire onboarding
  • Create New Hire packets for staff and faculty physicians
  • Run and send out monthly reports (birthday, anniversary, new employees etc.).
  • Keep HR spreadsheets up to date
  • Coordinate Employee Appreciation day gifts/card & holiday events
  • Back up to Office Coordinator position – sort mail, answering phones, taking messages, filing
  • Reliable Attendance and Punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned.

Credentialing:

  • Provider CME entries
  • Master Roster Updates and Attestation with Insurances
  • Continual Provider CAQH Maintenance & Attestations
  • Requests for Verifications
  • Document Coding and Upkeep
  • Tracking Immunizations and Certificates
  • Protocol Coding and Upkeep
  • Logging Continual Medical Education
  • Miscellaneous Credentialing Projects
  • Expirable documents – KS DL/KS provider Licenses/DEAs/Certificates/etc.

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, some college preferred.

Experience: One year to two years related experience.
