Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGreen Cubes Technology is a Lithium-Ion battery manufacturer in a rapidly growing industry based in Kokomo, IN. Green Cubes operates in a new and expanding industry. Our goal is to accelerate and facilitate the transition from inefficient lead acid power storage systems to Lithium-Ion power storage systems. We believe in designing and producing a cleaner and safer alternative to lead acid power storage systems.

The Systems Application Engineer’s role is to accurately capture customer requirements and to rigorously test our products to confirm customer and quality requirements are satisfied. The Systems Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to perform the role effectively and maximize business operations and goals.

As a Systems Application Engineer, you will:
  • Participate on a Global team providing application engineering support.
  • Provide Customer facing Product / Project Management support.
  • Work with customers to define product requirements and to identify and resolve systems application issues.
  • Provide Customer requirements and feedback to Global Design and Production Teams.
  • Create System Level Design Requirements.
  • Create and execute test plans based upon requirements documents
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business issues.
  • Develop detailed written processes and instruction documents.
  • Perform additional duties as requested.
The right candidate must:
  • Possess a BS in Engineering or BS/AS Technical degree with technical experience.
  • Have 5 years’ experience in Product Development of Electrical/Electronic products/equipment.
  • Have a background in computer systems engineering and analysis.
  • Be a problem solver who can think outside the box.
  • Be passionate about research and continuous improvement.
  • Work well both as an individual and in a team setting.
  • Be able to prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
  • Have prior experience in engineering drawings/schematics.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have customer facing experience.
  • Understand battery protection modules and safety standards.
  • Be able to travel up to 25%.
A step ahead, but not required:
  • Project Management experience
  • Lithium/Other battery experience
