FLSA Status: Exempt
Spectrum Management, LLC has been serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area for over 23 years and provides a comprehensive array of services that include construction management, facilities management and real estate development services. Spectrum Management is currently seeking a Contract Compliance Officer who will work closely with our Operations team to ensure individual site contract requirements are being adhered to and ensure that various related Operations systems are reflective of the services being provided at each of our sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
· Identify, assess, and manage risks related to regulatory compliance and operational integrity.
· Develops acute knowledge of individual site contract compliance requirements.
· Investigate and respond to compliance violations, incidents, or breaches.
· Recommend and implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps.
· Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, state, and federal laws, including OSHA, EPA, and other environmental, health, and safety regulations.
· Consult directly with Property Operations Management staff to communicate any changes in individual site contract requirements.
· Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
· Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, inspections, and incident reports.
· Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
· Collaborate with legal, HR, operations, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in compliance and facility management.
· Ensures that PMs/Task Orders are updated in SalesForce system accurately and in a timely manner and verifies completion of various site specific tasks.
· Answers compliance questions when needed in Operational meetings/conferences.
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
· Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 5 years of relevant work experience.
· Federal Government Contracting experience required
· Washington, D.C. Government Contracting experience a plus.
· Familiarity with DGS procedures a plus.
· Commercial Facility Management experience a plus
· SalesForce experience required
