Role Overview:

Green House is looking for a Senior Account Director who will act as business & client lead for the Creative Strategy department with strong creative and strategic skills to nurture client relationships and drive business growth. This role will also serve as the internal advocate for the Creative Strategy capability across the account program service teams and will work closely with the Head of Creative and Head of Strategy to expand business opportunities within and beyond the beverage industry and frontline/field capabilities. Success in this role demands executional excellence, creative intuition, relationship-building skills, and strategic acumen. The position offers the opportunity to lead client relationships, drive revenue growth, become a pivotal liaison between all departments, and establish a strategic career trajectory within our team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: 
    • Understand and connect client business goals, brand strategies, and target audiences to deliver strategic solutions that stretches across multiple client stakeholders.
    • Provide exceptionally authentic white-glove client service by anticipating needs, managing expectations, and delivering high-quality work on time while balancing budget and revenue goals. 
    • Prepare project proposals, clearly detailing activities, deliverables, timings, fees, third party costs and expenses. 
    • Lead internal and external project management, including management of timings, status, meeting planning and preparation and support in the day-to-day management of any project. 
    • Lead client meetings, presentations, timelines, and communications, ensuring clear and effective dialogue.  
    • Ability to confidently push back on subjectivity and through industry jargon will be critical. 
  • Revenue Generation: 
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients in the beverage and CPG sectors.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to create and pitch compelling proposals that meet client needs and align with company goals. 
    • Monitor and manage account profitability, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and budget. 
    • Set out detailed, timely and accurate month-by-month forecasts against which resources can be planned, ensuring all project activity is delivered within the set timeframe and to the highest of standards. 
  • Integration with Frontline Program / Field Execution Teams: 
    • Work closely with the PMO and Program Management teams to ensure all program deliverables within our agency’s process include scalable integrations of Creative Strategy services. 
    • Coordinate and align with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and operations, to deliver integrated solutions. 
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and capabilities to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction. 
    • Drive traffic control and seamless coordination and integration of the Creative Studio, Co-op partners and Cultivator community resources. 
  • Team Leadership and Development: 
    • ​​​​​​​Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 
    • Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to team members, helping them achieve their professional goals. 
    • Contribute to the growth and development of the Creative Strategy team, identifying and addressing skill gaps and opportunities for improvement. 

Experience and Expertise: 

  • Leverage extensive experience in the CPG and beverage industries to provide strategic insights and recommendations. 
  • Utilize a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and industry best practices to drive client success & collaborate with Creative Strategy Leadership across Green House Marketing & Lead Gen Initiatives. 
  • Provide clients and Executive Leadership with up-to-date industry developments and innovations to keep the senior & program leadership at the forefront of the market. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • 8+ years of experience in account management or client service roles preferred, preferably within the CPG and beverage industries. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Client-Centric: Exceptional client service skills with a proactive and responsive approach to client needs. 
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with client objectives and drive business growth. 
  • Revenue-Focused: Strong business acumen with a proven track record of managing and growing large accounts, with a focus on strategic and creative solutions. 
  • Collaborative Leader: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead by example.  
  • Industry Expert: Deep knowledge and experience in the CPG and/or beverage industries, with a network of relevant contacts preferred. 
  • Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Client Satisfaction: Client feedback and satisfaction scores. 
  • Revenue Growth: Achievement of revenue targets and growth objectives. 
  • Account Profitability: Profit margins and budget adherence for client projects. 
  • New Business Development: Number and value of new business opportunities secured. 
  • Team Performance: Development and performance of junior team members. 
  • Project Delivery: Timeliness and quality of project deliverables.
