Then the Deposit Service Representative opportunity is the right fit for you In this process-oriented service role you will be responsible for various back office operational tasks, with an emphasis in process improvements and operational efficiencies. You will use knowledge of Credit Union products and services, as well as technology, to accomplish your processing goals and deadlines in compliance with regulatory and credit union policies and procedures. In this role you will be supporting both members and internal departments.
Responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
- Check and ACH Processing
- Payroll Processing
- Mobile/ATM Deposit Review
- Fraud Processing
- Levy and Escheat Processing
- Familiarity with branch operations and various regulations such as Reg E.
- Additional duties may include receiving and reviewing incoming work, entering transactions, verifying accuracy, and daily report review.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet required deadlines and reporting requirements. Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented approach to the position
- Working knowledge of Excel, preferred
- Flexible in hours of availability preferred
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One (1) to three (3) years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
- Credit Union or financial institution experience preferred
