Job Summary

As a Regional Sales Representative for the Northeast and Great Lakes regions, you will drive business growth and expand our market presence by leveraging your expertise in direct sales, channel sales, and partnerships. This role requires a strategic approach to new business development and a keen understanding of current market dynamics.

Performance Objectives
  • First 30 Days:
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Securly's products, sales tools, and the current sales strategies specific to your territory.
    • Begin initial assessments of the sales process's current state, focusing on existing customer engagement, pipeline health, and market penetration.
  • First 90 Days:
    • Develop and initiate a targeted sales plan that addresses gaps identified in the initial assessment and outlines strategies for more efficient new business growth.
    • Establish foundational relationships and secure early wins to set a strong precedent for your sales targets.
  • First 6 Months:
    • Implement and refine your sales strategy, optimizing processes and aligning efforts with broader regional goals.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of new strategies and make necessary adjustments to ensure the achievement of at least 50% of the annual revenue target.
  • First Year:
    • Fully achieve or exceed the annual revenue targets by effectively leveraging direct and indirect sales strategies.
    • Demonstrate successful scaling of refined sales approaches within the region and contribute to Securly's overall market expansion and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proactive Sales Engagement: Demonstrated ability to actively manage a full sales cycle, from prospecting through to deal closing.
  • Strategic Sales Acumen: Proven success in developing sales strategies that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Sector Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of the K-12 educational sector and experience with both direct and partner-based sales.
  • Technical and Product Mastery: Ability to quickly absorb and articulate complex product details effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Strong skills in fostering significant relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders within the educational sector.
Education and Experience
  • Demonstrable track record of success in sales, ideally within the K-12 EdTech field.
  • Experience managing both short-term and long-term sales engagements in a dynamic sales environment.
