Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost analysis, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed to support business initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.

Non-Negotiables:

  • 4+ years in a Financial Analysis focused position
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
