Construction Project Scheduler
Summary: Reputable Builder has continued to expand due to their ongoing awarded projects and current projects that are in their pipeline. As a mid-size builder they have a strong mentorship program within their company allowing their employees to interact with Leadership at different level attributing to their career development.
The Construction Project Scheduler will collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to create, monitor, and update project schedules on both master and five-week timelines. Additionally, the Scheduler will develop construction schedules for upcoming projects. The ideal candidate must have exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Project and a strong understanding of the commercial construction process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain master schedules for all projects.
- Create realistic conceptual schedules for budgeting and bidding purposes, sometimes with limited information or narrative.
- Modify and adjust preliminary schedules as new information becomes available, ensuring a "current schedule" is always in place.
- Collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers to finalize schedules prior to project commencement.
- Work with Superintendents to update project schedules on a weekly basis and create short-term look-ahead schedules.
- Identify schedule conflicts and assist in providing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
- Competency in Procore, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet critical deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
- Professional, personable, and a strong team player.
- Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
