What you’ll do

The Learning and Development Specialist reports to the Senior People Experience Manager and works with organizational leaders to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge.

In this role, you will work to curate, develop, execute, and maintain a robust training program for our employees. You will play a crucial role in promoting efficiency and competitive advantage by developing the skills of the workforce organization-wide. // supports the design, development and delivery of virtual talent development programs to ensure leadership and future ready talent pipelines.

Your Impact

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to serve varied lines of business in the loyalty-tech industry, incorporating the latest industry trends and advancements

  • Create, maintain, and continuously update a variety of training materials, including presentations, handbooks, and multimedia content to support learning

  • Facilitate engaging training sessions both in-person and virtually; design and implement evaluation methods to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to assess training needs and design targeted programs

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees and managers, monitoring their development progress and delivering feedback

  • Manage all aspects of training logistics, maintain meticulous records, and manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective and well-organized delivery of training programs

  • Support and foster a company culture of continuous learning and professional growth, participating actively in existing and new feedback loops

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, human resources, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, Corporate Trainer, or similar

  • Strong presentation, public speaking, and communication skills

  • Ability to design and develop comprehensive training materials using multimedia tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Atlassian, and Google Suites and generally quick learner of collaborative software

  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

  • Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving abilities

  • Resourceful, with a continuous interest in learning new teaching techniques and industry developments

  • Dedicated in producing impactful, honest work of the highest quality

  • Passionate about employee development with a growth mindset

Bonus points

  • Training and Development Certification (e.g. CPLP)

  • Project/Program Management Certification

  • Proficiency in Lucid

  • Knowledge of loyalty-tech industry concepts, trends, and best practices

Location

This role is remote and can be located anywhere inside the continental United States. iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours, but feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer
