Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the operational strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
- Identify operational opportunities and challenges, and develop action plans to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set operational goals, KPIs, and metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization:
- Streamline operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to optimize operational functions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to drive high performance and employee engagement.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure operational processes adhere to legal and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and mitigate operational risks.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers to negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements, and ensure quality service delivery.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
- Risk Management:
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies and controls.
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience in the face of disruptions.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to assess and mitigate operational risks and ensure adherence to risk management frameworks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's or MBA degree preferred).
- Proven experience (7+ years) in operations management, preferably within the fintech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fintech products, services, and operational processes.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in the financial industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify operational issues and develop effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and ability to align operational goals with the overall business strategy.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Bonus Points

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $180k - $240k+ (depending on experience).
