Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the sanitation of equipment, surfaces, utensils, and the plant environment, ensuring all tasks are completed effectively and on time.
  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate all sanitation-related activities across quality, safety, health, operations, and maintenance programs.
  • Analyze sanitation performance metrics, lead weekly cross-functional meetings, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and update sanitation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance by all sanitation staff.
  • Handle personnel decisions, including hiring, training, and performance management, while also participating in hands-on sanitation tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • At least one year of directly related work experience in sanitation or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in email, spreadsheet, word processing, and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of sanitation processes, including cleaning chemistry, chemical handling, and sanitary design principles.
  • Familiarity with industry quality systems, inspection programs, and recruiting processes.

Work Conditions:

  • Regular onsite presence at facilities with up to 5% travel within the United States, primarily to company facilities or for training purposes.
  • Flexible working hours to align with plant schedules, including sanitation activities, pre-operative inspections, and various operational shifts.
  • Operate with significant independence, self-accountability, and leadership in managing sanitation processes.
