Accountabilities of a Compliance Administrative Specialist

  • Maintains SPIN workforce current training and professional development manual files and data based records and preserves archived employee training information.
  • Maintains current trainer certification records and seeks supplementary trainer services when necessary in support of coverage, quality control and best practice outcomes.
  • Registers all new and current employees in Training Scheduler and College of Direct Support in tandem with developing, monitoring and revising computerized training calendar to ensure efficient and effective use of ideal training space.
  • Interfaces, supports and interacts with SPIN’s workforce in navigating professional development opportunities and expectations through various modes of positive communication including, but not limited to telephone, email, face to face and written modalities.
  • Schedules employees for their annual training retreat, in conjunction with Residential Operations, to ensure continued quality supports of individuals in SPIN services, and notifies all employees of annual training requirements.
  • Maintains and continually monitors employee attendance records for all mandatory, in-service and external training episodes and identifies training and professional development gaps.
  • Communicates training compliance status with SPIN Management and seeks individualized support when necessary to ensure annual compliance.
    Interfaces with Information Technology personnel on a continual basis to revise and develop efficient, effective and progressive data based systems to ensure accurate reporting, tracking and compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience and proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and web-browsers like Google Chrome
