This is an excellent position for someone looking to obtain training to become a CFP® or CFA® collaborating with individual clients. As an Investment Professional, you will provide 401(k) plan support, investment research to support our Investment Committee, client support for individual client meetings, marketing support, excellent customer service as well as Advisor support, and other projects as they arise.

Responsibilities

Client Support, Financial Planning, and Other Duties:
  • Assist Advisors and Client Service Managers (CSMs) with Portfolio Reviews and Financial Plan drafting.
  • Attend and take notes in client meetings.
  • Perform follow-ups and review provided documents, requesting additional information as needed.
  • Utilize software such as MoneyGuidePro, Social Security Software, and Holistiplan for budgeting, tax analysis, and financial planning.
  • Generate Insurance Quotes and perform related analyses.
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc tasks assigned by the Director of Operations.
Marketing Support:
  • Collaborate with RiXtrema's contact to manage marketing software and develop new marketing templates.
  • Update prospect lists and organize prospective information in the 401(k)-tracking worksheet.
  • Support the Marketing Committee.
401(k) Client Support:
  • Review investment line up and options.
  • Assist with 401(k) trustee reviews and preparation.
Portfolio Management:
  • Monitor and execute trades, manage client accounts, and ensure all cash/portfolio needs are met using Tamarac.
  • Maintain client portfolio information and assist with Investment Policy Statement (IPS) reviews.
Investment Management and Research:
  • Compile Weekly Market Reports and create portfolio proposals.
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses, including cost basis and annuity analysis.
  • Conduct research on alternative investments and ESG factors.
  • Maintain YCharts and Morningstar Models and update alternative investment models.
  • Attend webinars, meet with wholesalers, and draft commentary for potential investment changes.
  • Assist with Quarterly Reviews and the Monday morning Market Review.
Manage and Run Tamarac:
  • Learn and manage Tamarac trading and reporting software.
  • Assist in setting up new client portfolios and handling day-to-day Tamarac functions for Advisors.
Qualifications
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Series 66 or attain within 3-6 months.
  • Series 7 or attain within 6-12 months.
  • Basic financial industry and product knowledge
  • Proficiency with Portfolio Management system such as Tamarac Advisor View and Rebalancer or similar software such as Orion, iRebal, Redtail, Morningstar, Bloomberg, etc.
Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail when managing large data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM platforms
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task by prioritizing workload to manage time effectively, complete work within deadlines, and produce accurate results.

Salary Range: $55k - $75K annually.
