Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Technical Team Lead with extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, specifically focusing on Time and Labor and Absence Management modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, and the ability to lead technical teams in designing, developing, and supporting complex PeopleSoft solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing for the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 system.
  • Design technical solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to application architecture standards.
  • Develop technical solutions using PeopleTools Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Page and Field Configurator.
  • Provide production support, including troubleshooting, fixing, and performing maintenance activities.
  • Create detailed technical design specifications and other necessary project documentation.
  • Develop reports and queries using SQL, PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher, and SQR.
  • Engage with users and subject matter experts to gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and support user testing.
  • Collaborate with analysts and other developers to resolve complex defects and issues.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on-time.
  • Lead 10+ developers for a complex project delivery.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of development experience with PeopleSoft systems.
  • 4+ years of experience working with the following PeopleSoft modules: Core HR, Base Benefits, Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, Absence Management.
  • Time and Labor or Absence Management experience is a must.
  • 2+ year’s experience with Agile software delivery methodologies and Jira software.
  • Strong programming skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience developing on an Oracle Database platform is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in documenting defect information, including analysis, steps to reproduce, and technical fixes.
  • Agile, PeopleSoft or Oracle certificate is strongly preferred.
  • Federal project experience is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical issues related to defects and enhancements.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated track record of analytical and critical thinking.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision to meet objectives.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide solutions.
  • Capability to interpret a variety of technical information.
