EVSE Customer Service Engineer


Zerova Technologies USA is looking for a responsible, detail oriented and customer centric individual to fill its EVSE Customer Service Engineer position. Must have a highly technical background with experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities: 


The individual will work with the Customer Service Manager and Field Application Engineer Responsibilities of the position include but is not limited to:


  • Conduct product return processing and perform failure analysis on products to improve quality control.
  • Ensure that a superior level of customer service is consistently provided to all customers.
  • Respond promptly to telephone calls and address customer requests, inquiries, and complaints in a respectful and empathetic manner.
  • Verify and investigate customer complaints to swiftly resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Manage urgent customer escalations and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Take responsibility for setting realistic customer expectations and delivering on promises.
  • Oversee parts fulfillment and support, process repair charges, and confirm orders to ensure accurate and efficient customer service.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments as needed to optimize customer service operations.
  • Guide and prioritize the activities of the Customer Service Team to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer service tickets to identify trends and initiate service calls as needed to improve the overall customer experience.


Desired Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 
  • Experience working with electric vehicle supply equipment a PLUS
  • Well-organized with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented


Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA; Monday- Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.
