Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Lead and manage every aspect of the lamination line. Ensures that the products meet the standards of Kerfkore’s processing specifications. As a Lamination Lead, you will manage the team to effectively perform board lay-ups along with your regular tasks as a laminator. You will be expected to perform various functions to ensure production processes run efficiently and effectively.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Motivate workers to enhance production quantity and maintain high production standards.
  • Direct team on setup and process.
  • Training and supervising new production line workers.
  • Preparing work schedules and assigning workers production line tasks.
  • Develop and recommend process improvements
  • Producing high-quality finished goods and ensuring efficient and safe machine operation
  • Inspecting equipment and performing basic adjustments and preventative maintenance when needed
  • Following all Company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)


Qualifications

  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and professionally resolve conflict.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability to operate machinery
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or a related position.
  • Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of seventy pounds
  • A great sense of humor


Position Type/Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED


Salary/Benefits: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Based on experience.
