Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

Job Overview:

Commercial Inside Sales Associates are responsible for fielding customer requests (internal & external); assessing the customers’ needs and providing solutions in a timely manner; preparing customer proposals; supporting pre-order and post-order processes; building relationships with customers and principals. A successful associate will be a motivated individual with a high level of organization and technical expertise to support both internal and external customers. Essential characteristics for this position include excellent oral and written communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and understanding of the customer experience

  • 1-3 years related experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test

Scope of Responsibility:

  • Satisfy customer requirements, while providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Provide support, and collaborate with Outside Sales Engineers
  • Understand products represented and develop quotes for required solutions
  • Provide technical assistance to customers on all products represented
  • Efficiently enter customer purchase orders, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Participate in product and company training to enhance job knowledge
