Billing Specialist for Sports Physical Therapy Clinic

We are currently seeking a Part-time or Full-Time person to join our team.
Responsibilities would include primarily - Billing / AR. Secondarily - Administration.

* This is an IN-PERSON position. Not remote *
* The right person will be a team player, with a positive attitude *

MUST be dependable and organized.
MUST be capable of multi-tasking and thrive in a high-energy, fun work environment.

Experience in healthcare billing required. Physical Therapy specific preferred.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Experience in similar setting. Familiarity with billing practices and HIPPA regulations.
  • Computer competence. Proficiency in commonly used software (Office or similar, Excel, Adobe, etc).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities and diverse activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in Health and Fitness is a plus.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:

  • Capable of providing excellent customer service.
WORK DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Revenue Management / Submitting Claims / Collections and Reconciliation.
  • Direct interactions with patients regarding bills.
  • Administrative roles include: Verifying patient insurance benefits. Explaining benefits to patients. Scheduling.
  • Communication with patients regarding all administrative aspects of their care / experience.
