Position Summary:

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is a rapidly growing Gastroenterology practice in Boulder County and the greater Denver Metro area with eight office locations and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Gastroenterology of the Rockies is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of three busy gastroenterology practices.

The Clinic Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our practices run efficiently, provides high-quality care to patients, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage clinical and administrative staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training. (Excluding Providers).
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines.
  • Develop and manage the practice's budget, including monitoring expenses and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain the practice's facilities and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order and that repairs, and maintenance are carried out promptly.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that the practice is providing the highest possible level of care to patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that the practice is providing the best possible care to patients.
  • Ensure that the practice provides excellent customer service, including monitoring patient satisfaction, addressing patient complaints, and making improvements as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze practice performance data and develop strategies to improve practice efficiency and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a clinical practice, preferably in a gastroenterology or specialty practice setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances.
  • Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
