Overview

The Cardiac Cath Lab at Longmont United Hospital is seeking a highly skilled RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical and department activities, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities.
  • Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards.
  • Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team, maintaining communication and promoting cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Supervise staff, authorize work procedures, and assign duties.
  • Provide input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring, and performance management of associates.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
  • 1-year clinical RN experience.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required.
  • BSN, preferred.
  • RN License to practice in the state of employment as applicable, required.
  • Nursing Specialty Certification related to the specialty is strongly preferred.

Pay and Shift

The pay range for this position is $34.33 to $55.33 per hour. The shift for this position is days, with additional call that includes about 9 weekdays per month and every 3rd weekend.
