  • Financial Analysis:
  • Design and uphold comprehensive financial models for real estate investment prospects.
  • Employ Excel to generate cash flow forecasts, conduct sensitivity analyses, and perform scenario evaluations.
  • Assess and model financial performance at the property level, encompassing revenue, expenditures, and net operating income (NOI).
  • Market Research:
  • Examine market data, trends, and property-specific details to facilitate informed real estate investment choices.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, including the evaluation of financial statements, appraisals, and market analyses.
  • Reporting & Communication:
  • Compile in-depth reports and presentations for upper management, encapsulating essential insights derived from financial models.
  • Assist in the formulation of investment memoranda and other documentation necessary for internal review processes.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Engage closely with the acquisitions, finance, and asset management departments to bolster ongoing real estate initiatives.
  • Partner with fellow analysts to ensure uniformity and precision across financial models.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in financial modeling, ideally within the real estate industry.
  • Skills:
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling methodologies.
  • Robust analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
