Position Summary: The Mental Health Consultant is responsible for the provision and coordination of mental health services for an assigned caseload. The consultant will work with both parents and staff to enhance their awareness and understanding of mental wellness and its impact on children and families. This position aims to improve the ability of staff, families, programs, and systems to prevent, identify, treat and reduce impact of mental health problems among children and their families.
Job Type: Full Time, Program Year, Non-Exempt
Expected Schedule: M-F, 8:00a – 4:30p
Rate of Pay: MA or higher $28.67 /hr
Education Requirement: Master of Social Work, with current license in the State of Michigan
Related Experience: Minimum two years’ experience working with school-age population and families
Required: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
