Position: Environmental Lab Sales Coordinator
Role Overview: As an Environmental Lab Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in promoting and selling the lab's environmental testing services. Your primary focus will be to support sales activities, managing proposal and quote delivery, and ensuring a seamless flow of information between the lab and the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide accurate information about the lab's services.
2. Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations for clients.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and lab tours for potential clients.
- Create and generate proposals for delivery to clients.
- Attend industry trade shows.
3. Order Processing and Coordination:
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for each client or project awarded.
- Respnd to client inquires about the status of their orders and any potential delays.
4. Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Provide insights to the sales team regarding potential business opportunities and areas for growth.
5. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order details.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance and key metrics.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts related to sales activities.
- Create and update sales and marketing collateral to include website updates.
- Generate corporate press releases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales coordination or a similar role, preferably in the environmental services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with environmental testing and laboratory processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite).
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
This role is essential in ensuring that the environmental lab's sales operations run smoothly, enabling the team to effectively deliver high-quality services to clients.
This position will report directly to RMB's Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
