Team Services Specialist

Menno Haven is seeking a dedicated and proactive Team Services Specialist to join our Team Services (Human Resources) team. This role will be responsible for managing daily HR operations, providing support to team members and leadership and ensuring effective execution of Team Services policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in HR best practices and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and can handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
- Provide general HR support and assistance to team members and leadership.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing team member concerns and resolving workplace conflicts timely and professionally, including conducting investigations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date team member records in the establish HR systems.
- Participate in Team Services projects and collaborate with the Team Services team members on various initiatives.
- Assist, prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide support in the development, implementation and maintenance of Team Services policies and procedures.
- Work independently on assigned tasks, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation.
- Provide support for organizational events and activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Generalist in the healthcare field preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR practices and labor laws required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities required.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
