Job Description

This is a part-time temporary position working approximately 20 hours per week in Bloomington, Indiana. The compensation is $18- $20 per hour and is commensurate with experience and work is available through December 2024.

Are you passionate about event coordination and looking for a dynamic part-time role to showcase your skills? We’re seeking a motivated Temporary Events & Meetings Support Coordinator to join our team and make an immediate impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-quality internal events and business meetings while gaining valuable experience.

As the Temporary Events & Meetings Support Coordinator, you will assist with the planning and execution of internal events and business meetings at the IU Foundation, ensuring every detail is accounted for. Your role will also involve providing catering support to guarantee smooth and seamless service during these events. Additionally, you will handle various administrative duties, such as preparing name badges, stocking inventory, and picking up necessary supplies to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in banquet or event management, hotel management, or catering. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
