Duration: 7 month contract

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours a week (flexible on days and hours)

Pay: $34.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:


• Facilitate the planning and execution of client-focused events.


• Create and manage project timelines and plans to ensure all team members are aligned and tasks are completed on schedule, including but not limited to material development, communication strategies, attendee management, and event agenda creation.


• Oversee logistical arrangements for events, including scheduling, transportation, catering, accommodations, and travel, in collaboration with the administrative support team.


• Craft communications for regional leaders and property-level stakeholders regarding project updates.

Success in this role will be reflected through the following skills and attributes:


• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and robust project management capabilities, able to meet deadlines and adapt priorities as necessary.

• Strong analytical skills to identify and implement unique, practical solutions to challenges.


• Ability to effectively guide experienced professionals in fulfilling their project responsibilities amidst their other commitments.

Minimum Qualifications:


• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience managing multiple large-scale projects.


• At least 2 years of experience in planning and executing client events.


• A minimum of 2 years in Project Management, Learning & Development, or similar roles that involve navigating and managing cross-functional projects within a complex organizational structure.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.


• Availability to commit 20 hours per week to job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Familiarity with key commercial functions in the hospitality sector (Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, and Catering & Events).


• Experience at the property level in a commercial capacity.
