Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and professional environment for customers and employees.
  • Oversee flow of service drive. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
  • Guarantees full compliance with Manufacturer policies, warranties, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensures that exemplary customer service levels are executed and maintained in a timely and consistent manner with CSI (Customer Service Index) standards.
  • Review and complete repair orders, noting technician comments, technician sign off, repair completion, and road test completion.
  • Explain completed work and charges to the customer as required upon checkout.
  • Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
  • Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
  • Inspect, maintain and ensure all service areas are in accordance with state and federal OSHA laws.
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Service Manager/Advisor.
  • Import Manufacturer and CDK experience is preferred.
  • Must be proficient with current technology (i.e. computers, tables, smart phones, etc.)
  • Strong Organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
  • Technical automotive knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Possess a clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
